Accoustic Levitation Chamber

This is an acoustic levitation chamber designed and built in 1987 as a micro-gravity experiment for NASA related subject matter. The 12 inch cubed plexiglas Helmholtz Resonant Cavity has 3 speakers attached to the cube by aluminium acoustic waveguides. By applying a continuous resonant(600 Hertz) sound wave, and by adjusting the amplitude and phase relationship amongst the 3 speakers; it is possible to control levitation and movement in all 3 (x,y,z) axis of the ambient space.

Looking for accommodation for this event from 05.08.08 till 05.12.08 (4nights) Flying in from Florida and going to volunteer at the event. Perhaps somebody got a boot laying @ the Marina with space for me, or a hotel room to share. Please let me know if you have any leads. This event is going to create some powerful vibration. I come from a country where natural healing is a way of life. Regular medicine is very expensive and the people must find other ways. Thank you, Global Sound Conference for facing such an important issue!

We have used sound in medicine for many years. Healing and diagnosing with it is nothing new. However, it was the Global Sound Conference that introduced me to the many other uses of sound. It opened my eyes to how much sound is part of our lives.

I love books! The Global Conference book store was outstanding. I spent a small fortune there and it was all worth it. Some of these books were impossible to find, they are either out of print or limited edition. The information in these books about sound healing is priceless! I will definitely visit next year.
